THE SCHOOL DIRECTOR
It is with immense pride and pleasure that I welcome you to EHMUN 2026, the eleventh edition of the Emerald Heights Model United Nations. This edition’s theme - Samanvay: Voices in Convergence, highlights the importance of diverse notions. In a world already divided, Samanvaya explores the gravity that seperate voices and opinions hold . I feel content seeing this very theme embodied in the hundreds of delegates from across India, whose voices converge in the halls of Emerald Heights with compelling dialogue, debate and leadership. As we mark eleven years of excellence, we recognize that the impact of EHMUN extends far beyond the committee sessions: it invokes initiative, responsibility, leadership and moulds the leaders of tomorrow.
I am certain that EHMUN will provide delegates with a platform–not one riddled with bureaucracy and delays , but one that allows you to voice your opinion; that allows you to approach, analyze, criticise, and solve the global conflicts that divide our world, that take the lives of countless innocent civilians.
We look forward to providing this very platform to all of you to form and express your views. On behalf of the entire EHMUN team, I extend my warmest welcome to all the attendees.

Greetings esteemed delegates and respected faculty members,
It is our distinct honor and privilege to welcome you all to the eleventh edition of the Emerald Heights Model United Nations.
Over the past 11 years, EHMUN has ignited the flames of inquiry, debate, and deliberation. Through our past themes, we have learnt that empathy and collaboration go beyond merely feeling for others; they involve taking action based on feelings, stepping into someone else’s shoes to truly experience the challenges they face, and actively seeking solutions to those obstacles.
This year's theme, "Samanvay: Voice in Convergence" embodies the essence of Model United Nations, where diverse ideas, cultures, and perspectives unite on a common platform. Through structured debate and diplomacy, delegates transform differences into dialogue and disagreements into consensus. It reflects the power of collaboration, mutual respect, and informed discourse, ensuring that every voice contributes meaningfully to shaping balanced, inclusive, and forward-looking global solutions for the world.
Through the Emerald Heights Model United Nations, we wish to encourage fruitful discussions, negotiations and teamwork among incredibly skilled delegates representing various thoughts, cultures and regions. Over the next few days, you will not only hone your skills of public speaking, persuasion and critical thinking, but will also devise new and effective policies and solutions for a sustainable world.
Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience for every delegate. We extend our deepest gratitude to our mentors, the organizing committee, and all those who have invested countless hours in crafting this extraordinary event.
We encourage you all to come prepared with innovative ideas, meaningful arguments and a strong spirit of collaboration.
