Greetings esteemed delegates,

 

It is our utmost privilege to welcome you to this edition of the Intra-School Emerald Heights Model United Nations Conference 2024! 

 

Over the past decade, EHMUN has aimed to provide delegates with inspiration to inquire, to deliberate, and to assert. We endeavor to do the same this year. Throughout the journey of this conference, we have brought about change in the way we view people, both in our surroundings and those struggling with conflict around the world. We have reshaped ideas, transformed perceptions, and, hopefully, made a meaningful impact on lives. 

 

Taking that note forward, in this edition of the Intra School Emerald Heights Model United Nations, we hope to encourage seeking out sustainable and inclusive solutions to our challenges with the theme ‘Navodaya - The Forge of Leaders’. The theme pushes delegates to embrace their potential as just leaders and collectively discuss solutions to the problems that threaten our existence in a way that we preserve humanity and peace for generations to come. Through this conference, we aspire to help you understand that empathy and collaboration goes beyond merely feeling for others; it involves taking action based on those feelings, stepping into their shoes to truly experience the challenges they face and actively seeking solutions to those obstacles. Our goal is not only to celebrate awardees and accomplished delegates but also to cultivate influential and responsible leaders who can guide the world toward sustainable growth and prosperity.

Through the Intra-School Emerald Heights Model United Nations, we wish to foster fruitful discussions, negotiations and teamwork among incredibly skilled delegates representing various thoughts, cultures and regions. Over the next few days, you will not only hone your skills of public speaking, persuasion and critical thinking, but will also devise new and effective policies and solutions for a sustainable world. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure an unforgettable experience for all attendees. We want to acknowledge the efforts of our mentors, our organizing committee, and everybody else who has spent countless hours creating this experience.
 

We encourage you all to come prepared with innovative ideas, sound arguments and a strong spirit of collaboration.
